A Message from the MACC President:
Welcome to the Mid Alabama Corvette Club's (MACC) website.
Founded in the 1980’s, MACC is all about enjoying America’s one true sports car – Corvette. With over 140 members and every generation of Corvette represented, there is always someone more than willing to talk about collecting, maintaining, or just having fun with your fabulous car.
Take a look at our “Calendar of Events”. It is full of events including car shows, meetings, and cruises of all lengths, from a few hours to a few weeks. We enjoy all sorts of activities including a bowling league, arts crafts shows and shopping for the ladies. Besides the numerous car shows, some of our favorite trips are to Route 66, historic areas, not to mention trips to wineries, hot air balloon festivals, white water rafting, the ocean and the mountains. One of our favorites is a quick Sunday afternoon jaunt to a local, or remote ice cream shoppe. Any place we can enjoy our friends and our vettes, is fair game. MACC sponsors and participates in various enjoyable events throughout the year to raise money for charity. Our two main charities are Magic Moments and the National Corvette Museum (NCM). We, as a club, as well as many of our individual members are proud members of the NCM. There are usually a few organized trips to the Museum each year.
MACC hosts our own Corvette Show each year and have Vettes come from far and wide to participate. You will also see our club display, as well as many other of our member’s cars displayed at the “World Of Wheels” each February at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex.
Organized as a social club, we collect annual dues to cover the operation expenses of the Club. Our monthly meetings are held at various places around the Birmingham area, and VISITORS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME. Check out the “Calendar” for time and place.
